Accelerating public energy efficiency

This year’s edition takes place on November 29th and 30th at the GovTech Lab. The 2022 Infrachain Challenge focuses on accelerating public energy efficiency and consists in conceiving and developing a solution based on the Public Sector Blockchain combined with IoT in order to further optimize the energy consumption of the government. This can be addressed by optimizing energy usage in public buildings, by public infrastructure or any other public asset.

Teams have 30 hours to develop an innovative project and code a working demo. At the end of the challenge, each team pitches their project in front of a jury. In addition, the Ministry for Digitalisation will review all team ideas and potentially contact individual teams for a future collaboration to turn their concept into a Public Sector Blockchain application!
