Open Data Meetup

The very first meeting dedicated to government open data was successfully held on April 23rd at the GovTech Lab. This event acted as a catalyst by bringing together the key players in the administration responsible for implementing the open data initiative, from the various ministries and public administrations.

This first edition provided a forum for lively discussions on topics such as regulation and the open data ecosystem, the management of data inventories, high value-added data, and strategies for making the most of data. Representatives from the environment agency, water management authority, the Ministry for Digitalisation and the LNDS provided their insights and shared their experiences with the community of civil servants involved in the liberation of data.

The event ended on a positive note with the announcement of the next Open Data meeting, scheduled for the second half of this year 2024, promising a new chapter rich in collaboration and progress in the field of open data in Luxembourg.
